There is always injustice in this world for we live in an imperfect world.  The face of it changes and evolves.  We live in a sinful world.  Each person has to decide what battles to fight.  We can’t just spin our wheel.  Each person’s time here is finite.  Injustice won’t go away.  But we can in our own way make the world a little better.  We should not (???) do the little that is in our power to do.  The seed of a mustard seed in the beginning is very tiny.  Every movement started with one person.  The power of one.  Never forget that.  The power of one.

God does not owe you anything.  Everything is by His grace.  All He promises you is food or shelter.  He often gives you gifts beyond that.  It says in the bible that when you pray, you do so with a spirit of thankfulness.  Otherwise you are this person who tells the Person upstairs I want this or that.  When you pray with a spirit of thankfulness, you appreciate the gifts He has given you.  And there is less and more in this world.  That is why when you have the ability to help someone in anyway and you turn your back on that person, you have committed a sin.  You are not able to help everyone, but, nevertheless, The Lord puts people in your immediate circle who need your help.  It does not matter what it is.  Each person has the ability to alleviate someone’s suffering.  It may be a kind word or even just a smile.  You do not live in a vacuum.  It is true God does not owe you anything but never forget you can impact others around you.  And that gift might have a ripple effect in our universe.  Never give up the power you have.  The power of one.

Never underestimate the power you have.  Every movement, every change started with one person.  To throw up your hands and sit there and say there is nothing I can do is to give up all your power.  The politicians know this well.  Elections are won one vote at a time.

Even if the stance you took was unpopular you have influenced other people and other politicians.  One presidential election, in recent times, was won by mere votes.  Never, ever give up your power of one vote.  That is all you have.  And that vote can move mountains.  If only every person believed that, less politicians would act with impunity.  They serve us.  Not the other way around.  So vote.  It matters.
